Comments: Thid is devoted to more expert crocheter, the thread used is very fine, and my tip is to work tightly to have better results.

Size :8" (20 cm.) diameter

Material ::Pearl cotton # 16, hook 0.90 mm (Boye steel #12), color ecru; you can substitute with Cebelia #40 or equivalent cordonnet thread (but the gauge can slightly vary); you may want to give a look to my virtual store if you need materials.

Stitches :ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc,tr, 2tcl=2-tr cluster= tr not closed in first st, tr not closed in 2nd st,, close both tr together, picot = 3 ch, sc in last st made, 3-tcl= 3 tr cluster = 3 tr worked in same st and closed together

Difficulty: medium/difficult

Start with 4 ch, join

1. 8 sc in lp, join with sl st to first st.

2. *dc on next sc, 2 ch*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

3. * 3 tr in next lp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

4.*sc on first tr, picot on second tr, sc on 3rd tr, 5 ch*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st. Cut thread

5. Join in a 5-ch sp, *10 tr in next sp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

6. sl st to third tr, *(tr on next tr, 1 ch) 6 times, sk 2 tr, (tr, 1 ch, tr) in 1-ch lp, sk 2 tr*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

7.sl st to second 1-ch sp, *sc in next sp, 3 ch, sk a sp*; Repeat * to * 24 times, join with sl st to first st.

8. *( 4 tr in next lp) twice, tr in next sc*; Repeat * to * 24 times, join with sl st to first st.

9. *(2-tcl on next 2 tr, 1 ch) 6 times, 2 ch, (tr, 2ch, tr) on next tr, 2 ch*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

10. *( 2-tcl on next 2 clusters, 3 ch) 3 times, sk a sp (2 tr, 2 ch, 2 tr) in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

11. *( sc in next cluster, 4 sc in next lp) 3 times, (sc in next tr) twice, 2 sc in next sp, (sc in next tr) twice*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

12. *sc in next sc*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

13. *tr in next sc, 3 ch, sk 2 sc*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

14.*tr in next tr, 3 ch, sk 2 tr*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

15.*tr in next tr, 3 ch, sk 2 tr*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

19. *tr on next tr, 2-tcl on next 2 tr, tr on next tr, 6 ch*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

20. *sc on next tr, 5 ch, sc on next tr, 6 ch*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st.

21.*(2 tr, picot, 2 tr) in 5-ch sp, 5 ch, sc taking with hook both the lps on rows 19 and 20, 5 ch*; Repeat * to *all around, join with sl st to first st. Cut thread, weave in ends.

N.B.

• Substitute ever (also if not explicitly said) first st in a row as follows:
  • first sc with 1 ch, sc;
  • first hdc with 2 ch;
  • first dc with 3 ch;
  • first tr with 4 ch...and so on;
• When you read "sl st to <location>", where the location is not immediately contiguous to last st, this means of course "an appropriate number of sl sts for reaching <location>".
• Also if I do not specify it, if you lasted prev row on a st (say st1), while you must start next row in another st (say st2), make an appropriate number of sl sts to reach st2.
