In this pages you will find some "advices for shopping" about thread, yarn and hooks you can use for crocheting my patterns. Of course, lot of these links are "sponsored" from Internet stores, but anyway you can find it useful also only to see what materials are involved in crocheting and then buy them wherever you want ! (But you can help my site buying them here.....)

HOOKS -Conversion
I used Italian hooks, of course, but in all my patterns I suggested a US correspondent size; these are the tables of "rough" conversion ; infact there is not an exact correspondence between sizes; furthermore each brand differ slightly in numeration; my tip is to try with a hook and if your item (try with a simple granny for yarn or with a couple of rows for thread) is too small or too tight, choose a larger size; viceversa, if your work is too loose or the size too big, try with a smaller hook.
