Stitches :ch, sl st, sc, dc,tr, dtr 5-tcl= 5-tr cluster= 5 tr closed together worked in same st, picot = 3 ch, sl st in first ch, 2-tcl=2-tr cluster= tr not closed in first st, tr not closed in 2nd st,, close both tr together

Difficulty:medium

Wrap thread on forefinger 3 times, insert hk in this loop and work

1. 16 sc in loop; join with sl st to first st.

2. * 5-tcl in next sc, 6 ch, sk a sc*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

3.*(4 sc, 4 ch, 4 sc) in next sp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

4. *(tr, 1 ch) 8 times in next lp, tr in same lp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

5. *(tr in next lp, 2 ch) 7 times, tr in next lp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

6. sl st in 2nd tr, * (tr in next tr, 2 ch) 6 times, (tr, 2 ch, tr) in 1-ch sp, sk a tr*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

7. *(3 sc in next sp) 5 times, 5 ch, sk 2 tr, 3 sc in next sp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

8.*sl st in 2nd sc, [2-tcl on next sc and next+2-sc (i.e.sk a sc), 2 ch]3 times, 2-tcl on next sc and next+2-sc , (dtr, 1 ch) 8 times in next sp, dtr in same sp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

9. *2-tcl on next two clusters, 3 ch, 2-tcl on next two clusters, (tr in next lp, 2 ch) 7 times, tr in next lp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

10. *2-tcl on next two clusters, (tr in next lp, 3 ch) 6 times, tr in next lp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st.

11. *(tr, picot, tr) on next cluster, [(tr, picot, tr) on next lp]5 times*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join with sl st to first st. Cut thread, weave in ends

N.B.

• Substitute ever (also if not explicitly said) first st in a row as follows:
  • first sc with 1 ch, sc;
  • first hdc with 2 ch;
  • first dc with 3 ch;
  • first tr with 4 ch...and so on;
• When you read "sl st to <location>", where the location is not immediately contiguous to last st, this means of course "an appropriate number of sl sts for reaching <location>".
• Also if I do not specify it, if you lasted prev row on a st (say st1), while you must start next row in another st (say st2), make an appropriate number of sl sts to reach st2.
