Fluffy Square

Comments: This square is crocheted with pure wool, and this material, together with the "soft" stitches used gives it a real pleasure to touch.

Material : Pure Wool, color natural, Hook no.4 (US=G/6)you may want to give a look to my virtual store if you need materials.

puff= puff stitch =(yo, insert the hook in st, yo, draw a lp through (3 lps on hook)) 4 times, inserting the hook in the same stitch; yo, draw 8 loops on the hook, yo, draw last two lps.

1. 16 sc in lp; join with sl st to first sc.

2.*( dc, 2 ch, dc) in next sc, (dc in next sc) 3 times* ;Repeat * to * 4 times, join with sl st in first st.

3.*(2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) = corner in next 2-ch sp, xst in next two dc, puff in next dc, xst in next 2 dc* ;Repeat * to * 4 times, join with sl st in first st.

4.*corner in corner, sk a dc, puff in next dc, 1 ch, xst in xst, sc in next puff, xst in next xst, 1 ch, puff in next dc* ;Repeat * to * 4 times, join with sl st in first st.

5.*corner in corner, xst , 1 ch, sc in next puff, 1 ch, xst in xst, puff in next sc, xst in xst, 1 ch, sc in puff, xst in next 2 dc* ;Repeat * to * 4 times, join with sl st in first st.

6.*corner in corner, xst , (dc in next dc) 2 times, xst in next xst, 1 ch, xst in next xst, sc in next puff, xst in xst 1 ch, xst in next xst, (dc in next dc) 2 times* ;Repeat * to * 4 times, join with sl st in first st.

7. sc in ea st, 3 sc in corner sps. Cut thread.

Join thread in a sc of 1st Round:

1. (dc in next sc, puff in next sc, dc in next sc, 2 ch) 5 times, sk a sc, join with sl st to first dc.

2. (hdc not closed on next dc, hdc not closed on puff, hdc not closed on next dc, close hdc tog, 4 ch, sc in next sp) 5 times. Cut thread, weave in ends.
