Comments: for this little filet piece I do not use diagrams, but written instruction. Much more complicated, but many visitors of the site asked for this. I hope they will like this pattern (I will never again write down another!) also if I give extensively only the first half, the second one being perfectly symmetrical.

Size :6" diameter

Material :Pearl cotton # 8, hook 1.15 mm (Boye steel #11), color white; you can substitute with Cebelia #20 or equivalent cordonnet thread (but the gauge can slightly vary); you may want to give a look to my virtual store if you need materials.

Stitches :ch, sl st, sc, dc, tr, picot=3ch, sl st in first ch

Difficulty: medium/difficult

Notes:

Directions

Start with 55 ch

1. (dc, 1 ch, sk a ch) 13 times, 3 dc, (1 ch, sk a ch, dc) 13 times => 26 open squares + 1 closed square

2.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 12 times, 3 dc in next sq, 2 ch, sk 3 dc, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 12 times

3.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 11 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, tr in 2-ch sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 11 times

4.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 10 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, sc in next tr, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 10 times

5.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 9 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 9 times

6.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 8 times, 3 dc in next sq, 2 ch,3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 5 ch, sk a sc, (sc on next sc) 3 times, sk a sc, 5 ch, ,3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 2 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 8 times

7.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 7 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, tr in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 3 ch, sk a sc tr in next sc, sk a sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 3 ch, tr in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 7 times

8.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 6 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, sc in next tr, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sp, 2 ch, 3 dc in next 3-ch sp, 3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, sc in next tr, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 6 times

9.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 5 times, 3 dc in next sq, 5 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 5 ch, 3 dc in next 2-ch sp, 5 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 5 ch,3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 5 times

10.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 4 times, 3 dc in next sq, 2 ch,3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 5 ch, sk a sc, (sc on next sc) 3 times, sk a sc, 5 ch, ,3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 2 ch,3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 5 ch, sk a sc, (sc on next sc) 3 times, sk a sc, 5 ch, 3 dc in next sp, 2 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 4 times

11.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 3 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, tr in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 3 ch, sk a sc, tr in next sc, sk a sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next 5-ch sp, 3 ch, tr in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch, tr in next 2-ch sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 3 times

12. (dc on dc, 1 ch) 2 times, 3 dc in next sq, 3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next 3-ch sp, 2 ch, 3 dc in next 3-ch sp,3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, sc in next tr, sc in first ch of next sp,3 ch, 3 dc in next 3-ch sp, 2 ch , 3 dc in next 3-ch sp,3 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, sc in next tr, sc in first ch of next sp, 3 ch, 3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc) 2 times

13.(dc on dc, 1 ch) 1 times, 3 dc in next sq, 5 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 5 ch, 3 dc in next 2-ch sp, 5 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 5 ch,3 dc in next 2-ch sp, 5 ch, sc in last ch of next sp, (sc in next sc)3 times, sc in first ch of next sp, 5 ch,3 dc in next sq, ( 1 ch, dc on next dc)

14-25 Now crochet Rows as row 1-12, but in inverse order to close webs; as an example I give you Row 14:

[ (dc on dc, 1 ch) , 1 ch, sk a dc, dc on next dc] = 2 open spaces, 3 dc in next sq, 5 ch , sk a sc, (sc in next sc) 3 times, sk a sc,5 ch, 3 dc in next sp,2 ch, 3 dc in next sp, 5 ch , sk a sc, (sc in next sc) 3 times, sk a sc,5 ch, 3 dc in next sp,2 ch, 3 dc in next sp, 5 ch, sk a sc, (sc in next sc) 3 times, sk a sc, 5 ch, 3 dc in next sp, 2 open spaces

At the End of Row 25 crochet the border.

1. dc all around, making (dc, 1 ch, dc) in corners

2. (tr, 2 ch, tr) in corners, *2 ch, sk dc, 3 dc closed together on next 3 sc* along sides.

3. ( sc in tr sc in ch, picot, sc in ch, sc in tr) in corners, *2 sc in sp, (sc, picot) on cluster* all around. Cut thread.
