Material :Pearl cotton # 5, hook 1.7 mm (Boye steel#7), white; you can substitute with Cebelia #10 or equivalent cordonnet thread (but the gauge can slightly vary)

1. in lp work 16 dc ; join with sl st in first dc.

2. (tr, 2 ch) 16 times; join with sl st in first st.

3. * (tr, 2 ch, tr) in next sp * ;Repeat from * to * 15 times more; join with sl st in first st.

4. * sc in next sp, 5 ch *; Repeat from * to * 15 times more; join with sl st in first st.

5 . * sc on sc, 3 ch, (5 dc closed tog) in next sp, 3 ch*; Repeat from * to * 15 times more; join with sl st in first st.

6. sl st to first 5-dc group, * sc on 5-dc cluster, 7 ch *; Repeat from * to * all around; join with sl st in first st ;

7 . sl st in first sp, * [(dc, 1 ch) 3 times] in next sp, tr on sc, 1 ch *; Repeat from * to * all around; join with sl st in first st .

8. sl st in second dc of first scallop, * [(dc, 1 ch) 3 times] in central dc of scallop, [(dc, 1 ch) 3 times] on next tr *; Repeat from * to * all around; join with sl st in first st .

9. sc in ea. dc and ea. space all around. cut thread.
