3.(2 hdc in ea sc) 10 times, join thread in initial hdc.

4. Inserting hk in fr lp of ea st, * 3 ch, tr in next hdc, (2 tr in next hdc) twice, tr in next hdc, 3 ch, sl st in same st, sl st in next hdc*; Repeat * to * 5 times ; join thread in initial st .Cut A.

5. Join B in back lp of sl st, * 4 ch, dtr in next tr, (2 dtr in next tr) twice, dtr in next tr, 3 ch, sl st in same st, sl st in next st*; Repeat * to * 5 times ; join thread in initial st .Cut B.

Heart of Flower

Join C in fr lp of a sc of first Row, (sc on fr lp of next sc, 3 ch) 5 times, join with sl st to first sc.

Square

Start with D, 6 ch

1.10 sc in lp; join thread in initial sc .

2.*2 dc in next sc*; Repeat * to * 10 times ; join thread in initial sc .

3. *(dc on next dc, 1 ch) 4 times, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) = corner in next dc, 1 ch*;Repeat * to * 4 times ; join thread in initial sc .

• Always substitute (also if not explicitly said) first st in a row as follows:
  • first sc with 1 ch, sc;
  • first hdc with 2 ch;
  • first dc with 3 ch;
  • first tr with 4 ch...and so on;
• When you read "sl st to <location>", where the location is not immediately contiguous to last st, this means of course "an appropriate number of sl sts for reaching <location>".
• Also if I do not specify it, if you lasted prev row on a st (say st1), while you must start next row in another st (say st2), make an appropriate number of sl sts to reach st2.
